We cover most of the major mountaineering areas in the northern, southern and central Japan Alps. With our alpine-coach, you can easily access to trailheads than public transportations and can save both time and cost.

The coaches depart from Tokyo(Takebashi) in the mid-night and arrive at each destinations in the early morning.

Northern Alps

Northern Alps is the most popular mountain range among three Japan Alps.

This range spreads mainly three prefectures Nagano, Toyama, and Gifu.

What makes this area so attractive is many comfortable mountain lodges and easier accessibility than other areas. Its dynamic landscape also attract many trekkers.

Southern Alps

Southern Alps is the largest mountain range among three Japan Alps.

That spreads between three prefectures, Nagano, Yamanashi, Shizuoka.

Because of its location, three line is higher and each mountain is relatively bigger than other areas.

Central Alps

Central Alps is the smallest mountain range among the three ranges.

This mountain range located between North Alps and South Alps spreading solely over Nagano prefecture.

Yatsugatake

Yatsugatake is located in Yamanashi and Nagano prefecture ,closer to Tokyo than Japan Alps. The highest peak is Mt.Akadake 2899m.

The southern Yatsugatake Mountains feature a series of sharp, rocky peaks reaching around 3,000 meters in elevation, while the northern Yatsugatake mountains are characterized by mossy forests, primeval woodlands, and numerous lakes and marshes.
